This is a colourization I did of 3 Polish women wearing folk costume in 1969. This one took a long time to do and I did have to research the folk costume of Poland to guess which colours would be used.
I am thinking about how Trolls World Tour was basically a metaphor against colonialism / imperialism. Maybe it is childish of me, but I wish people who support imperialism will watch this film carefully and realise that oppressing other cultures, countries or regions by invasion or forcing your own on them is wrong.
Footage obtained exclusively by Channel 4 News appearing to show an illegal practice used to trap and then hunt live foxes, has tonight led to the hunt in question being suspended by hunting’s governing body.Both the police and The British Hound Sports Association today confirmed they are now investigating the Cotswold Hunt – in response to the video contained in Alex Thomson’s report. Warning, this report contains scenes of animal cruelty.
This is a hard watch but shows the sort of indefensible cruelty involved in fox hunting with hounds. Bagged foxes are a common practice that can be found referenced in most hunting literature. Hunts are a lot more secretive about this practice these days, but there have been many examples of hunts caught still using this cruel practice
